    Vicki Peterson Interview on The Time Machine





    Rocker and singer-songwriter Vicki Peterson was a musical guest on The Time Machine. The founding member of The Bangles shared her thoughts behind the latest release of the band's early work "Ladies and Gentlemen...The Bangles!". In addition to the band's early rarities, Vicki also discussed the inspiration behind some of songs from The Bangles, as well as music that she contributed to as a member of The Continental Drifters. Before joining The Continental Drifters, Vicki teamed up with Susan Cowsill to form the duo The Psycho Sisters and the year 2014 saw both "Up On The Chair, Beatrice" by The Psycho Sisters" and "Ladies and Gentlemen...The Bangles!" from The Bangles get released to music fans around the globe. The Time Machine's radio audience was treated to a long lasting song in rotation on the broadcast for a few decades, "Heather Says" by The Cowsills, get airplay with a brand new recording performed by The Psycho Sisters. Radio host Michael McCartney and The Time Machine Crew were excited to share the new version over the FM dial.

    Brett Dennen Interview on The Time Machine





    Singer-songwriter Brett Dennen was a musical guest on The Time Machine. Brett shared his musical inspirations behind some of his songs with the radio audience and host Michael McCartney along with a reflection of his last eleven years since his debut album was released.





    Brett has made a tradition of doing an art piece before every concert in a new locale. This incredible honu was what he came up with for Maui.

    Grammy award winning Pop singer and Jazz guitarist George Benson was a musical guest on The Time Machine.     John Ford Interview on The Time Machine





    Rocker and singer-songwriter John Ford was a guest on The Time Machine. The gifted artist began his successful recording career with Jaymes Fender and The Vulcans and later Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera before joining the popular group The Strawbs. John with his fellow band mate from both Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera and The Strawbs, Richard Hudson, decided to form Hudson Ford. Wonderful music ensued and the partnership continued with the founding of The Monks as well as High Society. John shared with the radio audience his influences and inspirations behind some of his songs in addition to discussing his recent instrumental album that pays homage to guitar groups like The Shadows.


    Brand new music was also featured from The Paul and John. Other artists featured on this Maui afternoon FM aircheck include The Smith Bros., Duncan Reid and Ruth McCartney.
