    Love Takes Me Down (To The Streets) In Paradise







    Another afternoon radio aircheck from Maui. The FM dial was filled with new music on The Time Machine as well as some classic songs from the past. New songs were featured on the broadcast from The Pete Best Band, Ashley Cleveland, Dave Carroll, The Throwdowns, Rachael Yamagata, Richard X. Heyman, Maxi Dunn and Cheap Perfume. Also featured is the song that this podcast used as a title with a slight addition. Joey Curatolo, Amy Miles, Chris Anderson and Charles Gansa make up the artists responsible for the faux seventies Wings selection that never fails to put smiles on the staff of The Time Machine.

    Another Maui Afternoon Radio Aircheck






    Here's another Maui afternoon FM radio aircheck of The Time Machine. Michael McCartney entered the studio after body surfing at Sandbox which is an old school nickname for Wahikuli State Park. Loaded only with a shave ice the disc jockey was ready to play some really old tunes alongside some brand new ones.

    Cheap Perfume and Adam Marsland Interviews on The Time Machine






    Rocker Nancy Street from the band Cheap Perfume was our guest on The Time Machine last week. We've enjoyed playing their two songs "Ordinary Girls" and "Too Bad" from their forthcoming album. Brenda Martinez, Bunny, Lynn Odell, Susan Palermo along with Nancy Street have been busy recording their upcoming album. Singer-songwriter Adam Marsland is getting ready to release his first original album in five years. "Go West" is a double album from Adam Marsland (+ His Chaos Band members Kurt Medlin, Teresa Cowles and Evie Sands) and will drop on August 18th, 2009. Adam graced our airwaves with one of his new songs "When I Lied To Everyone".






    Brand new music heard on this Maui afternoon FM radio broadcast include the latest from Lisa Mychols' forthcoming album and The Shazam who have a new album "Meteor" coming out this week plus The Backsliders from their new album "Thank You" which can currently be downloaded for free at their website.
