    Jeremy Lister Interview on The Time Machine





    Singer-songwriter Jeremy Lister was a return musical guest on The Time Machine. His recent album "The Bed You Made" became one of The Time Machine's most played albums for 2011. It was a treat to have Jeremy back on the air to share his latest single "Set Us Free" which is the new theme song to MTV's "The World Of Jenks".

    Wyatt Funderburk Interview on The Time Machine





    Rocker, singer-songwriter and producer Wyatt Funderburk returned as musical guest on The Time Machine this past week. He has a new solo album coming out later this month titled "Novel and Profane". The founding member of the rock group Second Saturday discussed the influence behind his latest batch of songs and shared his thoughts about finally releasing a solo album at this point in his musical career. "Love Will Lead The Way", which was one of The Time Machine's most played songs of 2012 is now available on the new album, so there's another reason to celebrate Wyatt's solo release. The song is also available on iTunes.


    Brand new music was also featured on this Maui afternoon FM broadcast from the vaults of Andrew Gold's recording studio with an unreleased song as well as Coke Belda, Kurt Baker, The Wellingtons, Lannie Flowers and Wyatt's arrangement of the Michael Johnson classic "Bluer Than Blue" featured on the double album "Drink A Toast To Innocence: A Tribute To Lite Rock".

    Ana Cristina Interview on The Time Machine





    Singer-songwriter and actress Ana Cristina was our musical guest on The Time Machine this past week. She has a new EP coming out later this fall titled "The Franklin Avenue Chronicles". Bouncing back and forth between her music, acting and modeling careers; The Time Machine Crew were excited that Ana would share her latest music with the Maui radio audience. Ana discussed the influence behind her latest batch of songs, working with producer Chris Price and at the age of nineteen how she became the first Hispanic woman in history to perform the "Star Spangled Banner" at a Presidential Inauguration in 2005.



    The Time Machine


    Ana is a Cuban-American singer known for her bluesy contralto vocals and rare "Whistle Register". Ana writes songs in the Pop/Soul genre with the help of the guitar and piano. She has worked with several Grammy award winning music producers throughout her career and was signed by Sony Music at the age of 15 where she first began recording music in the Spanish language. Ana started her career by performing as a child on the long running Univision variety show “Sabado Gigante” from the ages of six to thirteen. In addition to performing the "Star Spangled Banner" at the 2005 Presidential Inauguration, Ana most notably gave a performance in 2006 at the White House in honor of Hispanic Heritage month, serenading the President of the United States, the Crowned Prince of Spain and notable world ambassadors in the East Room with her potent voice. That same year, she recorded the theme song for the World Cup Germany 2006 for the Univision Network titled "You Can Change the World" and its bilingual counterpart "El Mundo Puedes Cambiar". Ana Cristina has also headlined the Calle Ocho Music Festival in Miami and has performed at NFL, MLB, NBA games, Madison Square Garden, The Sony Ericsson, as well as during both New York and Miami fashion week. She has interviewed and performed multiple times on Univision and Telemundo network talk shows and has been featured in such publications as Cosmopolitan in Espanol, Glamour en Espanol and the cover of the Miami Herald to name a few. She also won the title of Miss South Florida USA in 2011. She is a prominent member of the Cuban-American/Latin community and in 2012, she was featured in Billboard En Espanol’s “Hottest Latin Female Singers Under 30” list.

    Karen David Interview on The Time Machine




    Singer-songwriter Karen David was our musical guest on The Time Machine this past week. She has a new EP coming out later this month titled "Dust To Stars". Bouncing back and forth between her music career and acting career (portraying Francesca "Cesca" Montoya on the BBC television series "Waterloo Road", Alexia on "Pixelface" and Layla in "The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior"), The Time Machine Crew were excited that Karen would share her latest music with the Maui radio audience. Karen discussed the influence behind her new song "Daydreamer", working with actor and director Kenneth Branagh in the upcoming film "Jack Ryan" (starring Chris Pine, Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner) and tickling radio host Michael McCartney pink with her confession over their mutual love for the 1980 motion picture "Xanadu" starring Olivia Newton-John.
