Ray Powers and Michael Zuko Perform Live on Dave Boogieman's Radio Show

11L Radio New York International's radio host Dave Boogieman of "Power Pop Plus", along with his radio sidekick Barry Dreyfus, had singer-songwriters Ray Powers and Michael Zuko on as musical guests last week. Imagine our surprise when Ray Powers performed a song that he co-wrote with songwriter Elizabeth Racz about our little rinky dink radio show out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It's called "Saturday Delight" and made it's broadcast debut on The Time Machine radio show during Easter Weekend last April. Fast forward three months later and Ray Powers is joined by musician Michael Zuko to perform the song live on Boogieman's radio show from New York.

Marissa Levy Interview on The Time Machine

Singer-songwriter Marissa Levy was a recent guest on The Time Machine. The talented artist shared her thoughts about her music on her latest EP "63 Songs About Joe". After Marissa's first two wonderful albums, she decided to enlist one of The Time Machine's favorite artists as a producer, Mike Viola (Rachael Yamagata, Kelly Jones, Candy Butchers and Mandy Moore). Of course, this meant that Marissa found herself at Mike's favorite East Coast studio, "Ice Station Zebra", where engineer Ducky Carlisle (The Major Labels) brought all the magic together.

Marissa Levy feels that "63 Songs About Joe" draws on such varied influences as The Beatles, Prince, Harry Nilsson and The Beach Boys. Just those influences alone should have you seeking out her music. Her new collection of songs fit onto the playlists of The Time Machine like a charm placed around your neck or arm from a long lost friend. Such a heartwarming musical gift. The Time Machine Crew can't stress enough just how fantastic her new EP is. Grab yourself a copy.

New music from Mike Viola, Michelle Branch, Rob Bonfiglio, Gary Ritchie, Dia Frampton & Blake Shelton, Roxette and Megan Slankard were also featured on this Maui afternoon FM radio aircheck including Laurie Biagini's latest collaboration (this time around with lyricist Elizabeth Racz). Tia Carrere and Bruce Campbell from the film world plus Pat Boone drop in for some fun on the radio show as well. Other artists heard on this broadcast include Villiers & Gold, The Sinceros, Tom Petty, The Fox, The Solids plus a timeless classic that charted three times by Art Garfunkel, James Taylor & Paul Simon, Sam Cooke and Herman's Hermits.
