Brandon Schott and Vegas With Randolph Interviews On The Time Machine

The Time Machine Crew were excited to have the opportunity to share the world broadcast debuts of new music from return musical guests Brandon Schott and both John Ratts and Eric Kern from the band Vegas With Randolph. Singer-songwriter Brandon Schott is finishing up his forthcoming album and decided to release an EP with three songs beforehand titled "Verdugo Park". Brandon discussed his latest batch of music on the radio and he began his road to songwriting and performing. Rockers and singer-songwriters Eric Kern and John Ratts from the group Vegas With Randolph, are putting together the next album and wanted to share the first song "The Girl Holding Out For Me", that they've finished from the upcoming record. Also making its world broadcast debut is singer-songwriter and Oscar nominated actress Minnie Driver's amazing cover of Lesley Duncan's "Love Song" from her upcoming album "Ask Me To Dance" this October. Elton John included this song on his classic 1970 album "Tumbleweed Connection" and over the years the song has been recorded by over 150 artists including Olivia-Newton John, Neil Diamond, Barry White and David Bowie.

The broadcast begins with 1989's "Maybe" from Wax with Andrew Gold's atmospheric vocals and Graham Gouldman's additional musical accompaniment off of the duo's third album "One Hundred Thousand in Fresh Notes". Music was also heard on this Maui afternoon FM aircheck from Courtney Jaye, Rachael Yamagata, The Bangles, The Raspberries, Butch Walker, Fastball, George Harrison, The Four Tops, Connie Stevens, Jefferson, Keith, Joe South, The Righteous Brothers, The Cuff Links, The Beach Boys, Thee Prophets, Lou Christie, The Peppermint Rainbow, The Flying Machine, Reparata & The Delrons, The Kids from "The Brady Bunch", Dobie Gray, Nino Tempo & April Stevens, The Street People and Bobby Sherman.
