Carlos Santana and Andrew Curry Return To The Time Machine
Guitar legend Carlos Santana returned to The Time Machine, as did Andrew Curry from Curry Cuts to share the world broadcast debut of five songs off of the forthcoming release "Songs. Bond Songs: The Music of 007" from Durga McBroom and Fernando Perdomo, Gretchen's Wheel, Phil Ajjarapu, Jason Berk and Minky Starshine. Carlos discussed the early days of Santana's fifty year history with radio hosts Tanya Teal and Michael McCartney and his excitement over the band's upcoming August release with Ronald Isley and the original line-up from the group's early recordings up to "Santana III" from 1971 that regrouped and recorded together again for 2016's album "Santana IV".

Singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat was a recent musical guest on The Time Machine. Singer-songwriter Kip Moore was a guest on The Time Machine. The former Big Island resident returned to the islands to perform and share with The Time Machine Radio Show audience the musical inspiration behind some of his songs. Radio hosts Tanya Teal and Michael McCartney welcomed back Curry Cuts' Andrew Curry to the program, as he shared more world broadcast debuts of James Bond theme songs from artists Jay Gonzales of Drive-By Truckers and Cliff Hillis from the forthcoming release "Songs. Bond Songs: The Music of 007". Jay takes on the classic Duran Duran song "A View To A Kill" and gives the 007 theme a brand new arrangement that breathes new life into the melody, as does Cliff's arrangement of "Writing's On The Wall" that garnered both Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Sam Smith's recorded performance on the single became the first James Bond movie theme to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart.
New music was also featured on this Maui afternoon FM radio aircheck from The Weeklings and an unreleased song from the mid-seventies by Andrew Gold. Lisa Cavaliere and singer-songwriter Rick Hromadka make up the duo of Ruby Free and their first album has been a staple of The Time Machine's playlist. Now the duo is about to release their sophomore album "Shades" this April and Rick Hromadka returns to The Time Machine to give the album its world broadcast debut before it comes out in April. Rick shares the inspirations behind the songs on the album with the FM audience and radio hosts Tanya Teal and Michael McCartney. Rick is always a blast to have on the broadcast and The Time Machine Crew were excited to have him on the radio show as a guest again. These new songs from Ruby Free are pure pop bliss.
Anya Marina Shares Serious Love On The Time Machine
Singer-songwriter Anya Marina returned to The Time Machine to share her brand new single that she did with Ian Keaggy titled "Serious Love". Anya also shared with radio host Michael McCartney the details behind her collaboration with Jewel and Tristan Prettyman on her single "Free" that ended up becoming one of the most played songs on The Time Machine for 2016.

Andrew Curry Shares More Bond Songs On The Time Machine
Curry Cuts' label head Andrew Curry returns to The Time Machine to share more songs off of the forthcoming release "Songs. Bond Songs: The Music of 007" featuring the world broadcast debut of songs from Chris Collingwood's Look Park performing "The World Is Not Enough", Lannie Flower's arrangement of Monty Norman's "James Bond Theme", The Corner Laughers with "Diamonds Are Forever" and Wyatt Funderburk with "The Look Of Love". The album is slated for a late April release and this third installment of Andrew's appearances on radio this month with radio host Michael McCartney brings in some ultra cool arrangements of classic James Bond theme songs.
