David Bash Interview on The Time Machine
International Pop Overthrow founder David Bash returns to The Time Machine. The last time the concert promoter and music journalist was on the broadcast, he was our guest disc jockey. David shares with the radio audience his thoughts behind the success of the International Pop Overthrow and the future of the music festival as it continues to grow.

Singer-songwriter Bruce Blackman was a guest on The Time Machine. As a founding member of the sixties group Eternity's Children, the top charting seventies band Starbuck and the eighties group Korona; Bruce has been a big part of The Time Machine's playlists for decades. A true core artist with songs like "I Got To Know" and the monster international hit "Moonlight Feels Right" that's been getting airplay around the globe for the last forty years. A timeless classic. The Time Machine's host Michael McCartney shares his glee with both the radio audience and musical guest Bruce Blackman that in Michael's words to producers Summer Blue and Jenny Leong, "This interview was a long time coming and so worth the wait." Bruce discusses his latest single "Walking In The Park" garnering airplay in Hawaii and around the country. Bruce also shares with the Maui radio audience the inspiration behind some of his songs.

Rocker and singer-songwriter Ray Paul returned to The Time Machine. Ray Paul has been a core artist of the broadcast for many years and The Time Machine Crew were excited to have former Boston and Los Angeles Power Pop pioneer to the radio show to share his thoughts behind his latest album "Whimsicality". It is his first new album since his critically acclaimed career compilation “The Charles Beat” was released in 2000. Ray Paul shares with radio host Michael McCartney what is what like working with guest artists on new album including Emitt Rhodes, Clem Burke (Blondie), Kristin Pinell & Kurt Reil(Grip Weeds), Walter Clevenger, Terry Draper (Klaatu) and Gar Francis (Doughboys). The album features his fiery, visceral brand of original Beatlesque pop plus updated covers of “Pretty Flamingo", "Temptation Eyes" and Paul McCartney's "Oh Woman, Oh Why". The songs on the record were recorded in Los Angeles & Costa Mesa in California, Toronto, Rochester in New York and Highland Park in New Jersey, The production and level of performances achieve high standards. Rock ‘n’ Roll in Boston in the ‘70’s was a vital place and Ray Paul & RPM were a big part of it. Recently, he appeared in the Emitt Rhodes documentary film “The One Man Beatles” and The Time Machine Crew were honored to feature his song "In My World" last year and have the tune become one of the most played songs on air this past year.
