Liking Strikes Interview on The Time Machine
The Liking Strikes are the musical duo of Lacey Wright and Carter Stewart. They recently performed up and down the west coast this past summer including the International Pop Overthrow Music Festival (IPO) in Los Angeles at Huntington Beach. The Time Machine recently had the band on the air for an interview.
Other artists heard during this Maui afternoon FM radio aircheck with host Michael McCartney and producer Jenny Leong covering for co-host Summer Blue include; Elton John, Butch Walker, Raspberries, Lovin' Spoonful, Ringo Starr, Utopia, Bangles, Airwaves and David Pomeranz. Also brand new music featured from Charlotte Sometimes, Michael Carpenter & The Cuban Heels, Courtney Jaye, Lisa Loeb, The Pretenders and Rachael Yamagata.
The Hawaiian airwaves were treated to some fantastic sounds that afternoon. The above photo is of both Lacey Wright and Carter Stewart with Michael McCartney in the middle.
