Irene Cara Interview on The Time Machine
Singer-songwriter Irene Cara has a new album coming out towards the end of the year titled "Irene Cara Presents Hot Caramel". The two disc set features drummer LaFrae Olivia Sci, bassist Donna Hairston, guitarist Sheryl Bailey, singer-songwriter Audrey Martell and the Poindexter sisters - Reina Yvonne Poindexter on vocals and bassist/singer-songwriter Errica Poindexter. Along with Irene, these gifted artists make up the band Hot Caramel. The first single from the upcoming album is "How Can I Make U Love Me" and Irene gave us the opportunity to play the song at the end of summer. While hanging out at Kaanapali beach on Maui, Irene took the time to be our musical guest on The Time Machine, sharing exciting future plans for Hot Caramel and wonderful insightful stories from the past.
