Mandy Moore performs songs from her latest album "Wild Hope"
Mandy Moore has been on our playlists for a number of years but her album "Coverage" from 2003 dominated our playlists for a long time. Mandy already had the powerhouse pipes that could add emotional depth to any song and "Coverage" was her chance to evolve as an artist. Songs from the seventies and eighties filled this gem of an album from diverse artists like; Joan Armatrading, XTC, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon, Todd Rundgren, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Joe Jackson, Blondie, The Waterboys and John Hiatt.
Below is the video link for Mandy's cover of John Hiatt's "Have A Little Faith In Me".

Mandy's current release "Wild Hope" has unleashed the true artist that "Coverage" hinted strongly at. Every song is a heartfelt winner on this album and perhaps a more detailed review is due since her talent as a gifted songwriter and collaborator shines (with Lori McKenna, Rachael Yamagata, Chantal Kreviazuk and The Weepies)but in the meantime here's a video for the song that opens her album - "Extraordinary".
