There was a long soundcheck prior to this show and Brian was reported to be in great shape for this evening’s performance. This was another Brian Wilson / Beach Boys’ Greatest Hits show. Al really looked and sounded great. Al was positioned to Brian’s right. Evidently Al had decided during the last 2 days to play this show. Brian looked great in the beginning but after Sloop John B, Brian got off his stool and then he looked like he almost had to lie down . Brian got up and said he wasn't feeling very he well and said he almost fainted. Al and Jeffrey came to Brian’s aid and Al announced there would be an intermission. I fully expected a cancellation of the rest of the show but after a 20 min break, Jeffrey came out and said the show would continue in 3 minutes. Brian came back to a standing ovation and launched into "Wouldn't It Be Nice". He seemed to gain strength over the next 2 songs and seemed better than I have ever seen him by the end of the show. I noticed he would close his eyes and listen to the music when he wasn’t required to sing. He definitely gained momentum from the audience cheering, clapping, singing by the audience.
I believe the band played the same set as in Monterey two nights before.

God Only Knows what the world would be like without Brian Wilson in it.
