Michael Carpenter and Andrew Curry Interviews on The Time Machine
Singer-songwriter, rocker, producer and all around great guy Michael Carpenter was a guest on The Time Machine. The gifted artist has been a part of The Time Machine's playlist for over a decade and he even produced the first theme song with Marty Rudnick for The Time Machine seven years ago. Hosts Summer Blue and Michael McCartney have both referred to Mike on the FM dial as "Australia's Todd Rundgren" in describing to an American audience the scope of his talent as not only a songwriter but a producer involved in numerous musical acts.
Michael Carpenter joined the broadcast along with Andrew Curry from the Monsters of Lite Rock website to unveil the world broadcast debut of Michael's arrangement of the classic song "We Don't Talk Anymore" by Cliff Richard. The song will be featured on the upcoming 2013 album "Drink A Toast To Innocence: A Tribute To Lite Rock". Andrew Curry has become a fixture on The Time Machine Radio Show the past few months discussing the album project and featuring songs from the forthcoming release. Two completed songs in and the album is shaping up to be one of the most played albums on the air for The Time Machine in 2013. In addition to two of Michael Carpenter's original songs, The Time Machine Crew thought that in honor of the brand new Cliff Richard cover, that it would fun to feature a number of other covers that Mike has released over a one year period on several albums. Did we mention that he's a busy guy so how he found the time to do all of this is anyone's guess.

Completely enjoyable show, thanks so much. You picked all of our Carpenter favorites. The Hollies and Cowsill covers are especially good.
Looking forward to his new originals project.
Thanks again for posting the show!
