Taylor Locke Interview On The Time Machine

Singer-songwriter Taylor Locke was a guest on The Time Machine. He's not only the namesake of Taylor Locke & The Roughs (with band members Chris Price, Joe Seiders and Mikey Pere plus former members Charlotte Froom and Mikey McCormack) but also a founding member and lead guitarist of Rooney, who have been firmly planted on The Time Machine's playlists since 2003. Taylor shares his thoughts behind both bands along with his upcoming web series "Planet Rocke with Taylor Locke" filled with guests, music, animation, puppets, furry fuzzy aliens and zany fun being touted as the first music talk show live from space. Some of the cast members include Ned Brower as Pterry P. Pteroydactle, Mischa Barton as Trixie, Renaldo Odlaner as Fuzuki and Patrick O'Sullivan as Fuzoko. Producer George Loomis is behind the scenes along with Ian Asbjornsen, Lucy Michel, Courtenay Williams, Ericka Clevenger, Cameron Brooks, Alexander Gabrielli, Teddy Cecil, Dominoe Farris-Gilbert, Kara Kieffer, Amy Reedy, Joe Rojas, Katie Broad, Nate Rothstein, Teddy Cecil, Luke Schlink, Bleu, Kyle Fredrickson and Megan Benavent. If that isn't enough to keep Taylor Locke busy, he's also part of Rumours, which is the premier Fleetwood Mac tribute act based in Los Angeles, with tickets currently on sale for their show January 10th, 2013 at The Roxy in LA. The group formed this past summer and recreates the legendary band in it's radio stronghold heyday from 1975-1979. The band is comprised of Jesika Miller, Rebecca Fishman, Ned Brower, Taylor Locke and Nic Johns. The Time Machine Crew on Maui is spoiled with Mick Fleetwood's own local band called Island Rumours that performs around the island but this Southern California tribute quintet is so focused that they've meticulously put together a show that spares no detail. From period accurate equipment and costumes to spot on characterizations and musical performances, Rumours takes you back to a time when music was still an unbridled cultural experience and bands weren't afraid to put on a show.
