Kimo Nevius Interview and Performance on The Time Machine
Singer-songwriter and author Kimo Nevius was our musical guest on The Time Machine. Kimo stopped by the studios during the morning show to participate in The Time Machine's songwriter challenge to perform a favorite cover along with an original song. The week was kicked off with singer-songwriter and actress Minnie Driver sharing her latest batch of covers and The Time Machine Crew thought why not invite Maui artists to come in everyday during the week to perform. Kimo was the first musician to swing by the studio. Host Michael McCartney also asked Kimo about his latest book that he co-wrote with his wife Michelle, "Footprints in New York: Tracing the Lives of Four Centuries of New Yorkers", which the New York Times called "a smart and entertaining window on the city of the past".
Other artists heard on this Maui morning show FM aircheck include Minnie Driver, Badfinger and America.
