Steve Forbert Interview On The Time Machine

Singer-songwriter Steve Forbert was a recent guest on The Time Machine. Steve shared his thoughts with the Maui radio audience and host Michael McCartney behind the songs he selected for his brand new album "Early Morning Rain" with his wonderful arrangements on classic songs composed by some of the finest composers of the last century. The Time Machine radio staff were thrilled to have Steve on the program sharing the world broadcast debut of many of the songs on the new album including; Bob Dylan's "Dignity", Jimmie Rodger’s “Frankie and Johnny", Elton John & Bernie Taupin’s “Your Song" and Gordon Lightfoot's "Early Morning Rain" which serves as the title of his latest album release. The first single off of the album is the Danny O'Keefe classic "Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues" that gets the magic Forbert performance. Steve also discussed the influences and inspirations behind some of his timeless songs.
