A Consensual Christmas On The Time Machine
The Time Machine's radio hosts Tanya Teal, Summer Blue and Michael McCartney with the assistance of producers Jenny Leong, Daphne Matsumoto and Ashley Starr selected a Christmas playlist for the Maui radio audience as the holiday approaches. The Time Machine Crew debated about playing three solid hours of different versions of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" in reaction to the recent banning of the classic song on a small number of radio stations across America. Guests included actor and comedian George Lopez, along with singer-songwriters Seth Gordon of The Mockers and Frank Gradishar of Thrift Store Halo. Additional artists joining in the musical festivities on the radio show included Jaimie Vernon from the band of Mr! Mouray, Dean Adshead of Sensory Triggered and Kai Danzberg sharing their brand new Christmas songs. Other new songs were featured for this Christmas season from Mike Viola, Pilot, Wengie, Old 97's, Alicia Witt, Six13, Katy Perry, Dana Countryman featuring Tricia Countryman, The Monkees, Michael Simmons, Lannie Flowers and Herb Eimerman. Other artists performing Christmas songs on this Maui afternoon broadcast include; Louise Goffin, Rod Stewart, Fountains Of Wayne, Adam Faith, Cheap Trick, The Bayonets, The Dukes of Surf, Cliff Hillis, Lisa Mychols, Solomon Burke, Billy Squier, Butch Young, Brian Wilson, Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton, The Beatophonics, Farrah, The Drifters featuring Clyde McPhatter & Bill Pinckney, Matt Tyson, Kelly Jones, Idina Menzel & Michael Bublé, Rachel Sweet, Parthenon Huxley, The Donnas, The Genuine Fakes and Chris Rea.
