Flying To My Home On The Time Machine To See The Sunflowers
The Time Machine's radio hosts Tanya Teal and Michael McCartney and special guest Suzanne Kayian embrace the sunflower fields for biodiesel on Maui. A welcomed sight after the closing of Maui's last sugar mill which meant saying goodbye to the numerous sugarcane fields around the island. The broadcast didn't start that way. It was meant to be an air travel themed program and in true fashion on The Time Machine Radio Show, it evolved into something completely different within an hour.
New music was heard from singer-songwriter Kimo Nevius, Look Park, Vegas With Randolph, Soul Kitchen, The Weeklings, Fastball and Michael Bublé. Other artists featured on this Maui afternoon FM aircheck include; Paul McCartney, Colin Blunstone, Elton John, Marty Rudnick, Peter, Paul & Mary, Paul Simon, City Boy, Badfinger, Rusty Anderson, Fountains of Wayne, Glen Campbell, Cecilio & Kapono, Cheap Trick, Marc Cohn with Aimee Mann, The Steve Miller Band, Bic Runga, The Motors, Harry Chapin, The Primitives, Christina Perri, The Pretty Things, Farrah, Henry Kapono, The Bangles, Chicago, Brenda Russell, The Smith Bros., Nigel Olsson and the comedy of The Royal Canadian Air Farce.
