Brian Ray of The Bayonets and Andrew Curry Debuts Mike Viola and The Nines on The Time Machine

Brian Ray of The Bayonets returned to The Time Machine to share the group's brand new single "Crash Boom Bang!" from the band's upcoming album in July. That's right, The Bayonets are back! Oliver Leiber and Brian Ray are joined again by Lucrecia López Sanz and Scott Shriner on harmony vocals, Davey Faragher on bass, Adam MacDougall on keys, as well as the great Joe Zook and Marc DeSisto at the controls. It's a sizzling rocker that The Time Machine radio host Michael McCartney stated that the song suggested an almost homage to "Dirty Water" by The Standells and other seminal garage rock bands circa 1965 to 1966. The song is now available on iTunes and a cool music video of the rocking tune can be viewed at YouTube. Since Brian's fearless band leader Paul McCartney made recent headlines over a virus that the doctors ordered bed rest versus touring for a couple of weeks, The Time Machine Radio Crew wondered if Brian had to perform while sick over his long spanning career. He shared a concert performance moment with Nicolette Larson back in the early eighties. Andrew Curry also returned to the broadcast to debut two brand new songs for the upcoming album project "Here Comes The Reign Again: The Second British Invasion". Both The Nines and Mike Viola made their world broadcast debuts with cool covers. The first song that Andrew shared was The Nines taking on Talk Talk's "Life's What You Make It" and a beautiful intimate arrangement of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" from Tears For Fears.

Brand new music from Chrissie Hynde, Timmy Sean and Fernando Perdomo was also played on the radio show. Others artists featured on this afternoon Maui FM broadcast aircheck include Paul Warren & Explorer, Badfinger, The Smith Bros. and Fountains of Wayne.
